Busy Last Couple of Weeks

So these last couple of weeks have been pretty busy for the both of us. Two weekends ago I went up to Salt Lake with my mom and sister. The main reason we went up was because I am getting some dental work done and we figured we could get a few other things taken care of while we were up there. My mom found a dress for mine and Matt's wedding. I found some shoes for my dress and my sister Jess went to go and meet with an adviser at the U. We stayed with the Hoffman's (family friends) and it was a lot of fun. I also got to see my really good friend Kob who I don't get to see as often as I would like.

We left Monday to head back for St. George. Then on Tuesday Matt and I drove to Cedar for school. He ended up staying the night in Cedar because he was leaving early the next morning for a competition in Reno that he went with other people from his program. He said that he didn't get much sleep but that they did pretty well.

On Saturday I was getting ready to go to Vegas with my family to go see my cousin, her husband, and their baby that is about a month old when we heard a knock at the door. (It was about 8:30 a.m.) It was Matt's friend Mike; and in his hands were flowers. Matt had told me the night before that he needed to know when I was leaving. I guess that the places Matt called couldn't promise that they could deliver the flowers before I left. I thought it was so nice of Mike to get up that early, pick the flowers up, and bring them over.

So, I guess you could say Matt and I haven't had that great of luck with Valentine's Day. Last year I was living in Salt Lake and this year Matt was in Reno. But he did get home early enough that we got to spend sometime together. We went to In-N-Out to get some food and then watched a movie. It was good to see Matt after almost a week without him. He is such an amazing person and I love him so much.

Here are the flowers he sent me. :)
