This is how we all felt and looked after getting things moved in and cleaned up at the cabin.

I have made it to the 100th post. I wasn't sure if I would make it. But, I'm glad that I'm TRYING to stick with a post everyday.
Anyway.. as you can see we are closer to being done with the cabin. We worked on the floor until 12:30 last night. Hopefully we will be able to move furniture in this next week.

Working on the cabin and loading up hay caused us to not eat (a real meal) until about 9 tonight. This sandwich looked so good when I ate it. As I post this I now wonder why it looked so good.

Wow, we are coming up on the two year mark of Matt working on the cabin. We are so dang close to having it finished. Today we did a ton of cleaning, inside and out. We also got the fans up! Don't they look good?

Mom and Dad came up to help us paint the cabin. Really... I never knew if this day would come. It is exciting to know that we are just that much closer being done with the cabin. We can't thank both of our families enough for all their help working on the cabin.

After Matt got off work we headed up to work on the cabin. We bought some of the lights and fans. Which means we are getting closer to being done. Tonight we worked on sanding off the mud so the texture can be put up! This is what Matt sometimes looks like after working on the cabin, ha ha. The cabin is looking amazing and people are surprised how it is turning out. We are planning on painting this weekend! :)

So we stayed in the cabin for the reunion and this was what we woke up to this morning. The cows got out and I guess they were waiting for us to wake up.

["So smooth you could rub your butt across it."]
Matt has been doing more cabin construction lately and
I decided to come up and help out.The cabin is coming a long.
Matt has started on the sheetrock, the deck is almost done,
painting after that and then the floors.
We are hoping that we can have those things done before
the end of next month. Then there will just be a few "small" things
we need to finish.
