LAST SEMESTER

This week was my first week of my last semester. Can you say crazy? I thought maybe I would be excited. But, honestly I'm not so sure about the whole last semester and graduating thing. I'm happy to be moving on and doing something new but, very scared at the same time. Lots of people go to school for five years right? That's what people keep telling me. I still am not sure what I'm doing once I'm done with school but, hopefully I will be figuring that out soon.

I haven't had an 8 o'clock class for a couple of years and it's kicking my butt. I've been rockin' a pretty sweet messy bun so I'm able to sleep as long as possible. :/

On a side note, Dozer has been hanging out in his beds a lot. Yes, I said beds. He has two. Spoiled right? He had an accident last weekend while playing at the farm. His ear got caught on some wire which left a pretty good sized cut. It has bleed off and on this week but, it is definitely getting better. Lucky we didn't need to take him in for stitches.

He Is Still With Us

I talked to my grandpa a few weeks ago and he asked if we still had Dozer. What kind of question is that?! Of course we do! He is such a funny dog with a lot of personality.
Now that he has grown out of the puppy stage he actually has become quite the lazy dog. You wouldn't know it if you came over though. He loves people!

This is how we all felt and looked after getting things moved in and cleaned up at the cabin.

Dozer loves going up to the ranch.

This is where we spent almost the whole day. I wasn't feeling very well and Doz laid by my side and kept me company.

[don't mind the crazy eyes]
Dozer seems to have an obsession with plastic bottles. He even figured out how to open the lids. We have one smart dog.

Headed back up to Hatch today. We went and checked out a few things that we are going to need for the cabin and to relax. We took the rhino up to the cabin from the ranch house and I have to laugh every time Dozer rides in the back seat. This seems to be his favorite way to ride back there.

I can't get enough of this little guy. I'm lucky enough right now that I can just hang out with him all day.

Camping by cows = Dozer finding lots of bones

It was a busy week once again. My cousin Elyse invited us to go up Cedar Mountain to cook tinfoil dinners. There was a pretty good crew there and of course I forgot to take a picture. When it got dark we figured we better head because we need to get over to Hatch.
The back seat is Dozers second bed. We spend a lot of time in the car and it is funny to hear Doz snore.

So I'm still looking for a new hobby or something for me to do. Now, I don't think dog houses are going to be my new hobby but, I think I could at least finish the thing. Matt built this for a project at school and figured it would be good for Dozer. Maybe D could actually use it if it was finished.
I'm still looking for a new hobby so if anyone has suggestions send them my way.

You are probably wondering why I would post a picture like this and whats it about. Well, a little some is starting to dig. And I bet you can guess who that someone is. Yes, our little guy Dozer. We thought we could leave him out there a little longer than we usually do. We thought wrong, for now anyway.

Matt decided that we need to do some training with Dozer.
You are probably thinking... oh great, this dog is wild. No, he is such a good dog (if you haven't read any of my previous posts, haha). But I think Matt is hoping we can turn him into super dog. Ok, not really, just the most well behaved dog. So let the training begin!

While getting ready for church I could hear Dozer whining. Now, that usually isn't something out of the norm. He usually has to go outside or something. But, it wasn't his normal whine. (I know, that probably sounds weird to most people.) So I found him underneath the bed. He use to just put his head under the bed, now he crawls under. As you can see this bed isn't very tall and... Dozer was stuck. I was trying to help him out and he wouldn't just crawl he was trying to stand up. I thought I was going to have to lift the bed up. After a few tries he got out from underneath. He is such a crazy dog.

Dozer was ready to go and play with his friends
Harley and Hamilton at the park. He is such a
great dog and is quite the smartypants.

So yesterday was a big milestone in Dozer's life, he was neutered. They had him stay overnight so, this morning I went and picked him up. Now, I was kind of hoping that he was going to have a cone on his head just so I could get some pictures. But, I guess he did so well that he didn't need one (we just have to keep an eye on him). Right when we got home he wanted to go and play in the backyard.

We had a fun little trip to Vegas with our friends Braden and Kaely. But, now its back to reality. We missed Dozer and I'm pretty sure he missed us. Even if he doesn't show it. ;)

I just love this dog. For some reason he likes to sleep with his head under just about any bed.

Dozer wanted to play with the Llamas but,
it ended up being a game of chase.
Doz loves coming up to the ranch and playing with
all the animals.

Dozer has been waking up extra early these days and loves to play fetch.
I took this picture this morning and love it. Haha, I have a hard time keeping my eyes open while taking pictures too. I still can't believe how much he has grown and that he is almost seven months old.
